It’s a 67 GS400 post coupe. Bad: Salvage title- no frame damage or body damage, I noticed it was rewired with new blade style fuse box, most likely salvage due to electrical work needed back in the day. Orginal 400 long gone, bought it without the engine. Paint is 8/10 some trouble spots where I accidentally chipped off a bit but closer to the rear of the bumper so not nearly as noticeable. needs bulbs installed in dash and needs heater core repair. Blower works , I have replacement vents and heater controls The Good: 446077H114243 Production Information 1,014 GS400 sedans made in 1967 730 had the automatic transmission 224 had the long console (109 of those were built at Flint like your car) 313 had tinted glass (124 of those were built at Flint) 347 had the exterior moldings (184 were built at Flint) 38 had the yellow bucket seat interior (21 of those were built at Flint) yellow was the rarest interior color in the sedan for '67 257 had a black vinyl top (139 of those were built at Flint) Bucket seats and orginal console with tach Converted to black, original color is still seen in headliner retrosound Bluetooth stereo Digitals brand sequential led tail lamps Rebuilt 430 Powermaster mini starter Powermaster high amp alternator Ta 284 88h cam Poston headers 2.5 dual exhaust all the way to the back with flow fx mufflers and electric cutouts BMR upper and lower front control arms 1.5 front sway bar Qa1 front coil overs Wilwood D52 calipers Original disc brake car New master and booster Chevy 12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears Th400 case with the switch pitch internals Sniper EFI system Sniper Hyperspark timing control system Stealth Aeromotive tank and pump Rear tubular adjustable uppers Rear tubular lower arms BMR Rear sway bar BMR No rust, body and frame solid Edelbrock performer intake Derale dual fan and shroud I have the original radiator shroud and the radiator too plate as well Have a set of rally wheels that come with the offset needed to run 275 on the rears with plenty of room. I wish it still had the yellow interior. BTW, if it’s an original disc brake car it’s super rare like 1 of 9 with the options listed, I may be mistaken but I’m pretty close.
wow that’s pretty cool! Only reason I’m looking to sell is I’m planning on moving into a larger home/ start family. The only thing left in yellow are the sail panels and the headliner. I bought it with black seats and I added new door panels since they were in pretty bad shape. the brake calipers and rotors had be replaced by the D52 single piston style as well. the spindles are still original to the car. The master cylinder looked original but was pretty seized up as well . I have a rear disc brake kit I am most likely sending along with it.
Nice 67' post car. Is the Shadow Turquoise the original color? Love that color.. If only I could tap into my 401 earlier.
