I have had this car since 1999. RARE; only 2140 GS 400 convertibles were made by Buick in 1967. A 1972 Buick 455 motor was installed by the previous owner.
In the period from 2012 to 2015 the car was restored and the motor was rebuilt, bored out 0.030 and with a mild cam and an aluminum radiator. A few years ago the automatic tranny was rebuilt. New front disc brakes and rear brake shoes were installed.
The car war repainted to its original factory color, platinum mist. There was no rust on any part of the car. The car does have the original air conditioner which works but must be refilled every year.
The interior is black. The door panels are original and in good condition. The power windows operate perfectly. The front bucket seats were recovered with original style material. The floor rugs ant floor mats were also replaced. The car comes with lap seat belts; front and rear. A new convertible top was installed in 2015. I believe the spare tire is the original spare. A modern am-fm radio is installed in the car; the original AM radio vehicle and service books and other miscellaneous items come with the car.
Recently in Chicago an almost exact replica of this car was sold for $40,000. That car had its original 400 motor and that makes a big difference.
