1967 Gs 340

I just got this car,itis badly rusted. I will be listing and selling parts as i remove them. The qtr emblems are fair with some pits. $75 plus shpg. Hood scoops. I removed them and stripped and painted red since the photo was taken. There is one missing stud on 1 chrome piece. $250 plus shpg. . 4--DG code wheels with caps.will be listed later with pics. $450. I believe the 4 Wheel openings are sold. if it falls thru i will list them later. They are not dented ,but have a few xtra mud flap holes. I have been offered $800- UNREAL..There is no sheet metal

Trunk poper and or a reverb setup?

 

This is an auto . The motor runs like new and wont be parted. There is no rear defoster,or electric trunk popper. Int is black bench seats need reupholstering ,door panels are bad armrest bases ok ,but not pads. No tilt,although i have a 64 cutlass tilt column shift if that will work $150. The grille is complete, all mtg studs intact but does have some cracks, $150 plus shpg. I have stripped,etch-primed and painted the hood scoops. I will add more pics of everything as soon as i get a chance. I still have the badges. Gary

Ok, remind me. the only thing different on a 64-66 column is no hazard light button, right?

 

67 has a collapsing column i don't think they interchange.

64, 65, 66 columns interchange.
67 colum will not fit the 64,65,66. And those 64, 65, 66 will not fit the 67.
There is a difference in diameter and the way they mount.
I guess with a big enough hammer, saw, torch, anything can be made to fit, but they will not directly bolt in interchange.
I learned it the hard way.
Another thing to remember when purchasing a 64-6 tilt, they have a removable lower flange, so make sure you get the flange with the column, or you will have to hunt for one.
Also, the column shift 64-6 tilt use a different shift lever than the non tilt, and shift lever spring, a delicate spring, so make sure to follow the shop manual instructions to keep from breaking the spring, can be dificult to find.

how are the chrome tailight bezels, window cranks, hub caps, chrome dash panel, and instrument knobs (radio etc)?

tail lights are very pitted, window cranks are fair, as well as all knobs, i think the dash panel is good ,no radio, hub caps have a few small dings, one has poor color. Those go with the wheels. Gary
