Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on lowering springs, upper control arms and (front and rear) sway bars for a 67 Buick Electra? I know i can get most parts from various suppliers re ball joints and so on, but these other parts look a more elusive.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

    Cheers. Andrew

When they changed the stance on my 'Cat, the resto shop took the springs to a local spring and axle shop (Atlas Spring & Axle). There were none available no matter where we looked that would do what we wanted, so they were made for me. I hope you're luckier than I was at finding some; "one offs" are expensive.

yep - been there - just looking to avoid that if i can. and not a fan of just cutting springs...

Plan is, bilsteins on all corners, bigger sway bar up front, and then box the rear arms and put a sway bar on the rear.

So far i can find the shocks....so, the rest is all looking like it'll have to be custom for for the land barge at the moment.

How much will you lower your Electra?

My car is embarrassing high so I need lowering springs. (afraid that something would get damaged if I remove and cut them) Not sure how low I dare to try. 1/2", 1", 1-1/2" or 2" drop.
My rear shockers are high jacker model with cut hoses so I guess they dont do any good and need to replace them also.

Oldbuickparts. Rear, $185. Front, $195. Custom made from vehicle specifications to become like original.
