i am taking a 340 out of my 1967 buick lesabre and putting a 455 motor in from ta motorsports and engine mounts dont line up and idea or help would be great
There's another member here making the same attempt, haven't heard any updates. Since the LeSabre's engine bay is a few inches shorter than Wildcat/Electra, it's going to be a VERY tight squeeze. There are different sets of engine mount bolt holes on the 455...have you tried a different set of holes to see if that helps? If not, you may have to relocate the frame pads since they are likely the culprit. The LeSabre was never designed to accept the big block mounting scheme. Devon
