Looking for an intake for a 1967 GS400. Needs to be correct not for a 430 or 455 car. Also looking for valve covers but 67-69 will work. The is for my dad's car so might be a little bit before I respond back. Will be looking for other parts here and there over time.

    Hi Ryan,

Just a heads-up if you're looking for parts that are specific to the '67 400.

The 1967 valve covers are a one-year-only thing. The '67-'69 covers look the same at first glance, but what's unique about the '67 400/430 covers is that the spark plug looms are spot welded to the covers. The '68 and '69 are not.

I also remember that the right side cover on my '67 had inboard tabs to secure the engine wiring harness. Not sure if that's unique or if later years did too.

See pics of the 1967 covers at https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1967-buick-400-430-valve-covers.362217/

Do you care about date code or are you only concerned with a correct '67 model casting number?

The '67 passenger side valve cover is the only year that has the hooks for the engine harness and is also the only one from '67-'69 that has no hole (the '68-'69 have a hole for the hose that connects to the air cleaner housing).

Not picky on casting numbers just correct looking. Also not sure what A correct casting number would be for a 67.

Do you have a temp sending unit? The male plug on mine broke.

I do have a nice holley direct bolt no adaptor plate that I took off my car when I reinstalled the factory Q-jet.

I don't need a temp sending unit. I found one.

Is this a 67 drivers or a 68-69 drivers with an extra hole drilled out?
