Thanks for the kind words and it means a lot to have other car guys like it. It has been along road but I can say it was built mostly in my one bay garage and some times I would bring it to work so I could let my Automotive students help out. After doing all the body work, panel fabrication and replacement I can totally understand why shop's get 10-15k to restore and paint them. We have over a 1000 hours in just panel fabrication , body work and paint. Thank god I am not paying a shop or I wouldn't be able to afford it. I received the car 15 years ago when I was 15 years old from my uncle who was a huge car collector and builder. Unexspectly he passed away a few months ago from a heart attack and I swore I would finish it for my uncle and my dad. They are having a cruise night in his name and I am in a mad dash to finish it in 20 days for the cruise night. Progress will be fast and hopefully be ready for the big day.. Wish me Luck!!

The bumpers is what is holding me up, we have so many hours in metal work in them to get that nice tuck look. I wish I would have started with a better front bumper because we spent a lot of time straightening it. Paul once its done I will be going up to franklin to show my nephew and a promised ride. I will make sure to let you know and maybe meet up..

got the front windshield installed tonight but didn't have the right rear molding clips so had to wait till tomorrow. Fired it up and moved it under its own power today and felt really powerful.. It is making some serious power and cant wait to put it on the rollers.

Its been awhile since I posted any updates. I went to a bigger borg warner s475 turbo, pulled the motor out, basecoat cleared everything and re-ringed it while it was apart. worked out the bugs and actually got to drive it and enjoy it and now I am making the small changes to make it a dependable driver. here is some pictures and a video of it last year(no snow) and this year I got rid of the intercooler, dropped the boost alittle and running meth injection soon.

    Woo! That turbo is huge!

Looks great the way you've got it nestled in there.

Thanks Shawn . looking forward to getting some more rain around here to clean all the salt off the streets so I could enjoy it this year. I have to get some motivation to put the new PTC torque convertor in and some new Performance parts. will be nice to take the heater out of the garage and back in the shed.

We haven't had that problem here. If we get much more rain I'm gonna have to put pontoons on the Buick....

Are you gonna make it to BPG this year?
