I bought this car in 1985 from the original owner. I had the engine and trans rebuilt and the car repainted. It runs great. I've enjoyed driving it 30k miles over the last 21years. Unfortunately, I only had it in a garage about half of the time I've had it, so it's due for some bodywork and paint. I'm now ready to pass it on and use the funds to complete a 455 Skylark project that has been stalled for the last 10yrs.
    Mileage-180,000 (30,000 on rebuilt powertrain)
Engine- 425" bored 0.30" over, KB Mark 2 cam, mild pocket work
    Rear - 3.42 posi
    $4,000 obo w/ 2 x4 bbl OR $3,500 obo w/ single 4bbl.
Sorry, but this offer is only through March 1. Otherwise, it goes to a co-worker that has made a reasonable offer but not what I feel it's worth (but then again, it's hard to be objective when it's been part of the family so long!).
Location: 45 min. N.E. of Baltimore, Md.

Hi , A couple of questions . Is the body rust just surface or all the way through.
The shot of I guess the inner fender well is that the worst of it or is there more.

Is that a shot of the floor pans patched . Are the floor pans and rockers in trouble?

    Thanks

Yes, there is some rust through on the passenger rear fender lip. That is the only outer panel rust through. There is some rust through in the trunk also, along were one of braces run. Also some at the lower right lip of the trunk lid seal area. The one photo shows the inside of the right rocker panel, showing that it is solid. It seemed more obvious at the time I took the picture. There are a few spots on the hood, front fenders and roof that are just surface rust from paint chips that.

You must be near the Wawa store on the corner of 136 and Rt 1. Wish I wasn't a thousand miles away right now. I'd love to stop in and check your car out,but I'm sure someone will beat me to it. I bought my '65 Electra convertible from a body shop in Churchville a couple of years ago. Ted

    Junkman,
You're correct. I'm just north of that intersection at the Dublin Elementary School. You from this area?

I am originally from New Castle,Del. I have an uncle that lives near Oxford,Pa.that I visit often. While in the area, I roam around alot. I have probably driven by your home! I usually fill up at that Wawa store, since they seem to have the lowest gas prices around. I also go to all of the local junkyards . Bank's Recycling,Mason-Dixon,Reider's,Criswell's in Little Britain. There was a good yard on Rt 40,but it closed a few years ago.Remember Christiens Auto Parts a few miles west of Northeast,Md? I always take my car trailer when I visit my uncle. I always drag something back. Ted

Guys, I always find it humerous when items come up where I grew up. My parents still live off 272 in Nottingham. I used to go to the same junkyards. I grabbed parts off of a 69 hardtop at Crisswells. Too bad I had to take this job up here. Good luck with the sale and thanks for bringing back some good memories. Be back for my brothers wedding in July.

Wow! My aunt and uncle live off of 472 near Nottingham.Their place is on Woods Rd.My aunt's parents used to own a diner/bar/deli shop in Oxford, called Peales Sandwich Shop, back in the 40s-60s,Peale being my aunt Dianna's maiden name. William Stuckey is my uncle, whom is retired from Morton-Thiokol in Elkton,Md. Definitely a small world.

    not original carbs

I purchased the 2x4 setup from Bill Lagna at Carslise Flea Market back in late 80's. the #s are: 3645s for the front carb and 3925s for the rear carb. Does any one know if these are the correct ones for a '66? It was originally a single Q-jet which I have and its nice shape.
