Figured I'd post this here, I am looking at a 1966 skylark gs, red with black interior (original) with, as much as I hate to say this, a chevy 350 motor. Body and floors and frame are rock solid, may need driver quarter due to previous collision repair interior very good, crome needs plating. Wondering if anyone has an opinion> Worth it, Not worth it?
yes If the car is complete and in as good a shape as you say then yes. Still you could try to use the chevy engine as a bargaining point. Tell him the sbc actually detracts from the cars value as its gonna cost you extra to find a buick motor and all the related parts to swap it back.
