Yep, this is the same '65 GS that was for sale here. I bought the car with the intention of a minor mechanical restoration, and I was just going to drive it and enjoy it, but unfortunately an unexpected life event is forcing the sale. It's a 1965 Skylark GS, 4 speed AC car. The original 401 is long gone and has been replaced with an LX code 425. The car will fire up and idle, but there is a broken bolt in the timing chain cover that will need to be replaced. I bought a new aluminum radiator, new fuel lines, new water pump, new alternator, new gas tank, and some other odds and ends for it, and had the dent pulled on the fender. This is originally a California car, and has no rust, although it does have patina. I will upload more pictures and would be happy to send more to anyone interested.
