Dressed up with Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner. Pertronix electronic ignition module and coil. Electric fan. Ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust. Turbo 350 3 speed auto replaced the original Buick 2-speed. Power front disc brakes, power steering. Wheel Vintiques reproduction 15” Buick rally wheels with correct Skylark center caps and BFG tires bought/installed 1/2019. Interior is 99% original and in good shape. Dash is original and not cut up for stereo or gauges. No tears in seats or headliner, but some staining here and there. Only changes to interior is oil pressure and water temp gauge mounted under dash and 4 additional seat belts (3 in back, 1 in front middle). Hidden stereo with phone plug in ashtray, amp in trunk, speakers in dash and under seat. Heater, defrost, fan, wipers, signals, speedo all work. Horn does not. Reads 47000 miles. I've put 2000 miles on it over 3.5 years. Hard to believe its 47k original miles, but it doesn't look like 147k either..so 'total miles unknown'. Body is an older repaint in what I believe to be the original color, or close to it, as all the door jambs and such match. Trunk and floors are solid. A couple of spots with some bubbling but no significant rot, a few scratches and some discoloration on the roof. The chrome and stainless is all intact and in good shape. It’s a solid 20-footer and can proudly go to any cruise in. The Skylark is Buick’s A-Body that shares the same chassis as the GTO and Chevelle. (65 GTO is my dream car, but I honestly like the lines of the Skylark over the Chevelle by a long shot.) Tons of upgrades are readily available to turn this into a modern, pro-touring monster. This model is the Sport Coupe which mean frameless doors and giving wide-open glass area when all 4 windows are down. One-year-only full width taillights are one of my favorite features, and possibly one of the best taillights of mid-60s. Super cool! Sharp, mid-sized coupe that turns heads and gets the ‘thumbs up’ every time I take it out. I’ve owned it for about 3 and half years, garaged the whole time, have thoroughly enjoyed it, but time to move onto to something else.
