Re: 1965 Buick Skylark two door hardtop 59k original miles That's a beauty...might want to post what engine it has...
Re: 1965 Buick Skylark two door hardtop 59k original miles Sorry 'bout that. The engine is the original 300 2bbl.Only items not original are plugs and upper and lower rad hoses.Still has original Packard wires and belts with the GM part numbers on them. Not that a big deal but kinda cool.....
Re: 1965 Buick Skylark two door hardtop 59k original miles Wow!! Nice car and well worth the money. Would be very welcome in my garage. If you were a LOT closer and it was just a couple months ago I would have been all over it before I committed my cash to the 64.
Re: 1965 Buick Skylark two door hardtop 59k original miles Sweet ride, I would love to have it over my 64. I like the front bumpers more then 64.ou:
Re: 1965 Buick Skylark two door hardtop 59k original miles I'll try to get more pictures today for available parties.
Nice car! Just picked up a beater '65 2-door Skylark myself and just joined this forum.Unfortunately the previous owner's replaced the factory 4-bbl,300 V-8 with a low-compression,Buick 350 V-8,but it is streetable. It is now rebuilt with a mild cam,Mike Tomaszewski dual-plane aluminum intake,Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm carburetor and 2.5" dual exhaust.Nothing impressive, but dependable.I have fallen in love with this body-style(A-body)and cannot wait to actually drive it as I only got to drive it on to the trailer that hauled it home, then off the trailer and then the '77 Rochester federal carb.,gave up the ghost and spewed fuel out of the throttle shaft. But at least it broke down right in front of my driveway, lol!:beer
