1964 Wildcat Production Numbers

    The person selling this Wildcat claims that it's 1 of 9 built in 1964. (I can't tell if he's claiming 1 of 9 with the 4-speed or 1 of 9 with the 4-speed and the other options, but that's not the point.)

    The point is that I had heard from someone when I bought my Wildcat about ten years ago that Buick hadn't kept those details and that anyone who told you that a car was 1 of anything was making it up.

    Can anyone clarify?

    The daily car reports from AP Sloan may give you that type of statistical data. What they do not have pre 70 model year is info for a particular car. I suspect this is what you are thinking about.

    If I've read this right, only 12 were built with the 425-4, 4-speed, and AC.
