Hello everyone, I am going to be replacing the top on my '62 Buick Special Deluxe Convertible. The top currently does not have the hold down tension cables installed, but I would like to have them installed when the top is replaced. Here are my 2 questions: *Does anyone know where I can get a pair, I have not had any success on locating them. One company I talked to said that he could sell me a generic GM set and those "might work"? *Is it necessary to install the tension cables? It seems like if I don't then there will be a lot of flapping, wind noise, and/or premature stretching of the top. Thanks for the help!
