Hello: I need a radiator for my 1960 LeSabre, 364 engine. Any help or leads in finding one will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Did you get your radiator?

Funny, I just posted this link elsewhere in the forum a few minutes ago.

If you can not find a direct fit radiator try one of these universal fit aluminum radiators from SouthwestSpeed. I put one in my Corvette a few years back and it has performed exceptionally well.

Yes, I finally found the radiator, and I am having copied over into an aluminum radiator which I hope will solve my over heating problem for good.

The new aluminum radiator solved my over heating problem. I am running A/C in 95 degree weather, in bumper to bumper traffic, and no over heating. I also have an electric pusher fan to help along with the engive fan that has a clutch.

    Cool,

Mind me asking how much it was to have it copied?

Are, there issues with the supply of current to the fan with the generator? Or, did you convert your charging system to an alternator? And, if so, what amperage?

It cost $750 with shipping to copy the radiator. Yes, I converted to an alternator. Amps? I was told 160 amps, but I have to verify this. I will take pictures this weekend and post. I still use the engine fan. My electric fan is a pusher, and it is mounted in front of the A/C condensor. I had A/C added to the car.

The set up order is cross bars, Pusher fan(very thin), A/C condensor, radiator, engine fan. No shroud. Fan is programed to come on when the A/C is turned on, and when the engine temp reaches 180.

The fan will also run for about 7 to 10 mins after shutting the engine off as I had a heat soak problem too.

I've been told 140-160 amps is good for A/C and electric fan. Although mine is non A/C. Especially, the heat soak problem. That's a problem I have with mine. It stays at my Dad's house on the top of long grade. After the car is shut off, the temp rises.
I'm glad to hear that your set-up is satisfactory.
It certainly is food for thought. I would like to see pictures, Thanks
