    Hi!

    I own a 1957 Century.

Because of some noise I wanted to replace the bearing(s) on my steering pump. I ordered the bearings with the part numbers NB203 and NB20 (both from BCA) at RockAuto. Yesterday I disassembled my pump and it’s quite different to the instructions in my manual.

Are there different types of steering pumps in 1957?

After measuring I need the shaft seal with the number 7808195 or from SKF with the part number 7475 but there is no bearing I could replace. It‘s just a sleeve. Is this sleeve a replacement part??

    Thanks!

That pump looks like the ones used my 55's. Here are some other part numbers to research.

Inner bearing - Federal Mogul 201
    Front Bearing - National WC-87504
    Front Seal - National 8059S
