Hello, fellow BUICK Owners, I have an intriguing question for fellowBUICK owners. I have a 1956 Buick Special, With a 322 Buick Nailhead, Power Brakes & Steering with a Dynaflow Automatic Transmission. The Generator on my car is a Delco-Remy
Model # 1102053. I have been looking for some back-up parts and have only been able to find rebuilding parts and rebuilts for 1956 Buicks with the Generator Model #1102008. My queston is are these 2 Generators with different part #'s Interchangeable? Will Bushing and Brushes from a Model #1102008 fit a Model # 1102053? I have seen numerious replacement parts for a Model # 1102008, but none for Model#1102053. Any an All help with this perplexing concern will be GREATLY Appreciated.
