Beautiful car. One of my all time favorites. Nice to see they started with a California car. Worth it IMO.
the 53's were for the old man the 54's were for the son. either car is tough to restore and be right. this one has the wrong rad cap and missing the starter protection. need to deduct from the asking price. most of the 53/54 had the antenna on the drivers fender. i personally know of one that is on the pass side.
I never did understand why such a simple thing as a radiator cap was not made right. Those lever caps look just plain stupid.
