Interesting. They don't get any plainer than this. This has absolutely no options. The colour isn't bad, it actually suits the car. I'm not a fan of the 1954 Buick at all but this one has potential as a sleeper.
Man , I could use the rear out of that, 3.90's on all stickshift Buicks 54 & 55 Special, Century & Super . Bill
My Grandad had that car in the top color , Would want to check it over carefully, note the rusted out hood. It is also missing it's rear quarter nameplaces
OK V-8 Buick People: Coincidentally.....a middle aged couple in their early 50's showed up at a chapter event a few weeks ago with the exact same car in beige. Turns out it was her daddy's car that he purchased new. It was in a garage in San Francisco for over 30 years. The woman couldn't drive it so she had power steering and disc brakes installed. She also found a shop she trusted and mentioned that it was about 10 grand to get it reliable, which included overhauling the engine and going through the 3 speed as well as many other repairs. It didn't look as good as this because it was beige but it was rust free throughout and solid as a rock. Mitch
Mitch That's Casino Beige, my favorite 54 color. I can appreciate that 90% of people can not stand beige or browns, but I like them.
LOL CB is my least favorite color of 54, with all the wonderful colors hitting the car market in that time period it is like the people that ordered CB walked in and said give us the car in that new generic beige color
OK V-8 Buick People: I spoke with the new owner. he's excited about taking delivery of his new Bu. And Bryan: I'll try to remember to take a picture of it at our next chapter activity and post it. Mitch
