Looking for 17" Buick rally wheels. Does anyone other than Wheel Vintques make them? Would like to buy a set of used billets if anyone has a set. Thanks Leo
There the only place were they don't look like Mopars but so dang pricey . I had a set on my 65 GS :TU:
Thanks Joe That is a real nice looking wheel. I'll look into the price and let you know if i bought them. Leo
That IS a nice looking wheel. What kind of comments would be made behind my back if I got a set of 17" for my 65 Sky (given that it's the Chevy version) ? o No:
Around $400 up each I'd rather pay more and get Buick rallies myself . Those look more magnum 500's look me .
ahhh... if only money grew on trees :beers2: then I'd agree. The ones in the photo above + 2 sets of tires are cheaper than the same 17" Buick wheels alone (no tires).
If you call them up and tell them you spoke at Pleasanton Ca Goodguys show and they told you 2000 for a set they'd do it . I got mine for $420 each but was about 5 years ago now and are long gone . For them money I'd take 15 " rallies over both :beer
Would having the Chevy style be so bad or is it blasphemy? I love the 17" but will never spend $2500 (or $2000+ 'show price') for a set of wheels. 17" Buick Ralleys at Wheel Vintiques = $626 ea http://wheelvintiques.myshopify.com/products/billet-buick-104-series 17" Chevys (Americal Racing, pictured above) = $234 ea http://www.elites-wholesale.com/Sho.../asc/order_by/popularity/set_num/1/menu_num/2
Just food for thought, that "chevy" style was on my car when I was buying it and I made a deal with the seller to put junk wheels on because I felt the car looked cheapened. Pic1 his way Pic2 the way I bought Pic3 15" rallye
I bought American racing AR500 wheels for my car. It fitted perfectly on my 66 gs convertible ( 8" x 17")
Buicknut Thanks for the tip about the Pleasonton show. If I can get them for $2000.00 I'll order them tomorrow. Going through a lot of work to build a GSX Stage 1 Clone to correct specs. Probably regret not putting on the Buick wheels. Leo
Tried the tip on the Pleasonton show for $2,000.00. Wouldn't do it. Not happy!!! Not very willing to deal on a wheel they sell 8 sets a year!!
