smokin !! Congrats to JJ on the 11.36/121. :TU: I think the Corvette pits might be a hotbed at Stanton..... :Brow:
That's JJ's style. He wears those cowboy boots so he can run three pedals with two feet. Not easy to do, he's great at it. Sounds like the air must have been pretty good at the race. Like the way it's shaping up for Stanton in less than 2 weeks. Get this hot crap out of the way. 59 out there right now, going up to 90 again today.
That is astonishing! To think that you could be in the middle of the pack of FAST with a car 70 cubes less than everyone else is amazing. What is JJ trying to do, become a legend to Corvette lovers?????????:eek2: :TU: Jim
Dave, The air was 2,600 ft. during the record runs. The track is a tick above 600 feet above sea level so the corrected altitude was 2,000 ft! There was a mild head wind all day as well. That diminished around 5:00 pm, but I heard that JJ was in the trailer by then [transmission?]
No doubt Jimmy`s Vette was moving! Congrats Jimmy... Oh, you won the drawing for 5 gallons of VP C-12 racin fuel to boot.:TU: (HP Motors) Terry will be bringing it to the PSMCDR.
Congratulations!!!!!!!! He makes it look so easy. He was thrashing on my car all day friday trying to help me figure it out and then calmly runs his rocketship right into the record books in so-so air. Holy Grappa!
