i have this 10 bolt rear that came out of my dads 67 chevelle. it is not the original rear to the car. i believe someone took a f body leaf spring rear and halfass welded perches for coil springs. it is a posi and by doing the counting method of figureing out the gear i think it might be 308s. located in cleveland oh pick up only $250 o.b.o

If it was for a leaf spring car it wouldnt have the perches cast into the top of if for upper trailing arm brackets would it?
Looks more like a G-body rearend. I have a 81 cutlass rear in my 67 skylark. I have to swap spring perches because the cutlass perches are on top of the axle, and the 67 sits forward of the axle. -Josh
duh, yea i guess your right. like i said all i know is the perches are poorly welded on. makes sense that maybe it was from a gbody but i know having them as an 8.5 is only in gn's and monte ss otherwise they would be 7.5
guess some scrappers wanted it more then i did, made the mistake of having it stashed in a corner outside of my shop, needless to say some scrappers decieded to take any piece of metal they could get there little thieve hands on and now the rear end is gone. along with some other junk.
