On a edelbrock 800 carb.which of the three holes on the eccelerator pump linkage is reccomended for a mild build top,middle or bottom, and what are pros and cons to either hole placement. thanks Luis.
Without seeing a picture, I can only offer the following: One, no matter which hole you use, make sure you can obtain wide open throttle when the pedal is pressed to the floor. Two, the closer the hole is to the pivot point (throttle shaft), the less pedal action will be required to open the throttle blades. Thus, using the closest hole can make the throttle a bit "touchy". I prefer to use one of the holes farther away from the throttle shaft making it a bit easier to moderate. Devon
