Do you guys ever heard of putting in .048" over pistons in a 455? What kind of pistons are those, (Olds 403??) ?
Can anyone tell me how much cc the dish in the piston is?

    Thanks,

    Bram

We would need to know what piston you are talking about to know what dish it has to it. :Do No: Need more info. :TU:

I know that a .038 piston is fairly common. A person can use whatever size pistons that his/her block can handle. I would think that a .048 overbore would not be out of the question, especially for a later block.

Give us a little more info and we can help out more. :)
