I raced a Supercharged 04 Cobra on a roll on with a pulley. I used 2nd gear at about 45-50 mph. We stayed door to door till I hit 5800 rpm then I got out of it. I am using a 125 shot of Nitrous on it. So I got him to turn around then I got him on my turf...Roll on out of low gear at about 30-35 mph. Well I put a car on him right off the bat and he couldn't catch or pass me. My other Mustang buddies loved it. They have old school pushrod v8s with prochargers. Watch out for those Nitrous 350s There fast. Later, Guy. :3gears:

Nice one. I went up against one of those in my 'Lark (stock 350) rolling from about 60. I knew I would loose, but didn't expect the Cobra to pull away as fast as it did.

I did that last year. I expected the Cobra to be fast, but I didn't expect to lose oil pressure and two bearings :Dou:

He only got me by half a car length. pulley, chip, and better exhaust. It still sucked because he had all the luxuries of a new car, and I don't.

I am going to D42 on wed to try test &tune and if I can break the 11.99 barrier. I have not tried the Nitrous directly out of the hole yet but now is the time. My best time comes from hitting the gas out of the hole and then turning on the Shot, this took 60ft. so my 60fts were normal. So I think my 12.28 can be broken if I can get it out of the hole on the bottle.

Nitrous seems to work very well on 350's especially if you have a good exh system and a cam that has a lot of Exh lift and duration. When I was running it, the car would go from "pretty fast" to "holy $h!t" at the touch of the button - with a non adjstable 125 HP plate.

Sister has the 04 Cobra Terminator. Supercharged 427 is no slouch. I doubt I have anything streetable that will run with it.

That night I raced that Cobra during the second race when I managed to get slow enough to go into first gear when I nailed it to the floor and the nitrous came on the thing zinged to the rev limiter at 6200 rpm and there was no backing off pedal I just shifted. I had that spedo at the bottom straight down and I was turning just about 6 grand when I let off.

that was a crazy night we were out to 3 am and I was out with about 6 Mustangs and all had power adders of some kind.
