I’m in need of the steel bottom bracket that the compressor and alternator mount to for my ‘72 Stage 1. Had to torch mine to remove it. It was either trash the bracket or my original alternator. Figured the bracket would be easier to find than date a coded alternator. Part number stamped on the bottom is 1235835.

I’ll try to get some later but the number stamped on the bottom of the bracket is 1235835.

    This is what he's looking for . . . :)

    Rich Babula may have one!

    I have a nice one here but it's the Aluminum (1970) version . . .

Thanks Todd. I’m gonna hold out for the steel bracket since it’s a matching numbers Stage convertible.

I found these 3, no part #'s I could see.
Bead blasted and painted for rust control.

Donny, I have this one. It came with a bunch of parts I bought and I don't see a number on it, but it's got a lot of paint on it! 20230803_163603.jpg 20230803_163603.jpg 20230803_163736.jpg 20230803_163539.jpg

There is a difference in them so be sure to get the one you need! (Slight difference but it makes a difference) :)

What would the difference be Todd?
Mine all seem the same at a quick glance!!

The location of the bolt hole with the Nut built in. A-Body brackets are different location of this hole compared to some or all of the "Big Cars". . . .

Thanks Todd. I’ll hold out for one with the part number.
