This one needs to be looked at closely, lots of little flags that make me question its overall quality. Just may need a little more work, not a turn key show car. Rare bird though with original drivetrain.

I will never understand why people have these rare cars but don't give them the restorations they deserve. Love the car aside from the paint work and door alignment. It even looks like they had the body off the frame at one point so it's unfortunate the paint ended up the way it did. I don't mind a little orange peel if it's consistent across the whole car. But those drips are horrid. To their defense they mentioned it in the add...

I agree needs looked at carefully, tons of things wrong with this car to make it a show type car which is unfortunate because there are so few.

Ton of work if you are going to put back to factory original or hope for a good price and drive as is.

I think the front lowers are going to look real bad pretty soon (full disclosure-mine are rusting through a previous owner’s Bondo patches, too!)

Sounds like it was a real rust bucket. New floors, trunk,1/4s and frame!!! Fenders and doors look like theyve been worked and full of bondo too.

I talked to the consignment dealership last year regarding this car. What a bunch of goofs. It was stated as numbers matching block, carb, distributor, and trans. I couldn’t even walk the guy through the numbers on the block let alone anything else he was looking at on the car. I requested very specific pictures which I never received. I was extremely kind and patient with the guy as he was looking for the numbers as I told him the locations where they should be. I came back to the forum here to pick a couple of the 8/9 guys brains about stuff that was not sitting well with me. I took the advice and walked away from the car. Now there is more pictures which makes me even appreciate more the fellas on here to help me understand what I was looking at.

You guys nailed it. Driver quality - at best.

Seems like 90% of air cars for sale don't have working a/c. 5% of the rest will probably leak down within 6 months of purchase.

I mean I'm not saying mine is mint either. It's got some bubbles showing through here and there but the way they laid the paint down for the most part is beautiful. That huge run in this car's paint though, it's just a shame.

No they wanted 83k GSXER….. They slowly brought within my thread from then to now some of the bodywork is starting to show. I love the car. But not for that much money. I also agree this is a driver.

If that car would have wore red paint you and I would have had a deal! I’ve been keeping my eye out for white/red or red/white.
    Beautiful car by the way.

Any way to verify that it is a real Stage 1? Whenever I see ads like this, I immediately think its a fake and the seller is just trying to scam people who don't know any better.

Has BB code transmision and should have cars vin # stamped in it.

VIN matching BB code transmission is one. VIN matching block with proper code is another.
