I’ve been looking for a big cruiser to keep my Skylark company through the winter. Happened upon this good running and driving ‘68 Riviera. Black on black with a console. Still has the original paint and I suspect the original motor. 106k miles. No rust that I’ve found. Skylark goes off to paint next month so while it’s gone I’m going to pull the motor and trans and attempt to stop all the leaks and detail the engine compartment. Interior just needs the original wheel re-installed and couple odds and ends cleaned up for now. Would really like to find a good grille and get the headlights operational again. Other than deleting the sport mirrors I’m going to leave the rest of the exterior alone until the Skylark is wrapped up.

I believe I have everything you need for that car. Also the decal for the climate control and inserts for the console.

The rear bumper is from a model year 1969 Riviera:

Cool that it has the optional 4-note horn:

correct. The previous Owner made that modification. I have the original but it’s in poor shape.

Nice Jim! They are great running and riding cars. I got a complete 69 Riv GS parts car with a 3.42 posi if you decide to hot rod it. No pressure ;)
