1970 Stage 1 Diplomat Blue- with commentary from the original owner

    Based on the comments, I will preserve the patina of this car and maybe use the “shine juice”…
    Some of the bigger things: it needs a new windshield (this is the original one!!!!! Grrrrr), and need to reseal the rear window. Tires, exhaust, brakes, heads, new fuel tank (unless someone local has a decent, correct used one)…

    I've always heard KB was a salesman,.....but those numbers are comical,.... beyond cool no doubt,.. definitely a top shelf car and most certainly a keeper

    Myself I would be VERY Leary on SJ.... Its a oil base of a sort.. The oil penetration into the paint to make it shine will also be a pain to sand later on in time if a new paint job is added in the future....

    Ask your bodyman...

    Don’t put no oily crap on that car! Spray it with clear, you can do that yourself easily, lord help us…..

    Yea definitely no oil,....I would just polish and leave the rest alone,...it's surface rust,..will look the same 20yrs from now

    I cuss like no other when I get a car in the shop with any kind of tire or interior dressing **** on it,...pisses me off to know end,..dumbest product ever made,....

    GM did not paint the roofs on vinyl top cars…
    I wish the rest of the paint was as nice as these pics…,

    Yes it was! The original owner said he went right from the dealership to Ziebart!!!

    What color was the vinyl top? I don't know the codes on the window stickers.
    If it was black it would be this most awesome ad that Buick put out.:)

    White interior and all.. Not sure if the ad car has buckets but who cares:cool:
