Can't tell for sure, but the dark green '69 in post #4 looks to be my nephew's car! Anybody see the plate? It would say BOTLFED

 

First time down the 1/4 for my “Green machine”. The new motor is working well.

Where are used to live

 

My first GS Nationals and it has been great so far. Wish I could have spent the whole week here.

 

What motor in it?

 

In my car? It has an LGX 3.6 V6. The 12-17 GS has a 2.0 Turbo 4. I had one of those and best I could do with a tune was 14.7.

I think this 2018 could run a high 13 if I figure out what rpm it wants to launch at. It pulled a lot of power in the first 2 gears after leaving at 2500rpm.

Next year I hope to be driving something a little more period correct though.
