I’d never buy a car site unseen. Too many horror stories.

I think we all have on that. When I sell a car, I try and press the buyer to look at the car in person.

I start off with everything bad about the car and go from there.

    Your one of the few!
I looked at a Skylark convertible last year no rust I was told. Trunk was coated with seam sealer all over and painted. Wanted 30K I didn’t walk I ran away.

I once went and looked at a ‘69 GS400 that the owner said just needed some small patch panels behind the rear tires. The RUST-THROUGH started at the front tip of the hood and didn’t stop until you got about three feet past the rear bumper! There was not a single body panel without a rust hole in it!

What's with the VIN on this car? They list it as being all zeroes, and then later,

" Original VIN 4G37U2H187708" which means what, exactly?

Recently drove 4hr. to look at a numbers matching 70 GS350 project. Frame bent from previous damage at quarter, repaired not even close to proper. And yup non numbers matching. seller said ask questions that's a long drive so i asked, from his add, number matching engine trans and documentation etc. ? oh yes and it's close to paint. Well non was true but at least i tired.

The brown car has 3 days left to bid, currently at about $20K, the reserve is not met yet.

This car was previously advertised for a few months on Facebook Marketplace at $25K but didn't get any takers.
