There is a 65 red Wildcat convertible along with several 67 Buicks in the auction I would love to own.
The prices at this auction are just INSANE , reminds me of 2007, then after that peak things went downhill until 2012. Now is the time to sell apparently , I’ll have to wait to buy for a couple years it looks like.
VERY COOL... but I wish they would have given the car its due with a look into the interior and engine bay... Enjoyed seeing that 1969 Stage 2 hardtop cross the block as well... -MIG
Agreed, it seems like every other car on the block is in the millions. Even BAT prices are crazy. Last April you could buy a low mileage grand national for 30k, now they're 50-60k plus.
A 69 Chevelle SS no reserve just went for 50k, might be deal of the day considering what everything else is going for.
A '70 Skylark convertible just sold for a hammer price of $47,000. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0122-487348/1970-buick-skylark-custom-convertible/ Bench seat, auto with a 350-2.
I hate listening to the annoying announcers thou , they think they are experts on every car that crosses
Mecum knows the money is there so just railroaded those cars through. Why not? Museum prices for a 71 350, nice car but crazy time. Should have picked up the green one that just sold here for half that.
