Got in touch with "BadManJose" who is a very close friend with BuckWheat (LOL), as soon as he is activated he'll have this deadbeat begging for mercy. I think "Jose" is from the South Bronx (with lot's of cousins in LA), so this should get very interesting. A dozzzan Low Riders to hiz krib at 3am myt promp a refunn. Oooooh chit mang, eye wooden wan to be Mr. "lwdwn1", bro !!! :eek2: :spank: :blast:
Well I got a pm from both the guys on the Impala forum saying thanks for the heads up they won't do business with him. And then proceeded to send him this message: I emailed you TWICE in the past week. I can show you my sent folder if you'd like. My problem is you aren't doing a damn thing about it. You just go on to the next person trying to sell them something instead of figuring out what happened with my bumper. Obviously I want the bumper but instead I get screwed and you still get paid. To me, that doesn't seem right. So figure something out or just refund me my money and take it as a loss to you instead of me because clearly I did nothing wrong. I should've paid the 3% fee and let Paypal deal with it. I would really appreciate my money back and if one day the bumper shows up I will send the money back. Make a decision. I didn't want to start getting too harsh but I'm at that point.
Just an FYI...., greyhound always has a tracking number. It's called a GL number. When u ship something you get a ticket like if you boarded the bus. Call Greyhound or GPX and they should be able to look up if anything was shipped to you. They input the shipper and shippie's info. It shouldn't be hard to find out if he's bull****ting u.
i never thought about going that route. i just emailed greyhound with the info and I will call tomorrow afternoon. thanks for that.
Good luck with that. There is no tracking number. If he had the tracking number he would of given it to you. Smoke that fool!!!
There may have been a misunderstanding by the buyer - I don't think Canada is even remotely part of the story because it was Ontario, California not Ontario, Canada. That's the only way the alleged shipping from the Los Angeles station makes sense. Canada is off the hook this time, but you guys better watch your step. This thread has no chance of being as good as the pinion gear welded to the ring gear or the girlfriend hating the Jeep...those were classics!
I wouldn't trust those Cali boys. they are always paying for parts, paying to quick & providing unreasonably fast shipping AND they're just to damn honest. You can always trust an honest person to be dishonest...honestly. (present case excluded). :spank:
Maybe you shouldn't buy anything from this particular Canadian. Please don't pigeonhole an entire nation based upon one person's actions.
Agreed! I got hosed by a good ole boy out of Missoula who was a board member! Cost me $500 real dollars plus shipping, which at the time was something like $750 Canadian dollarettes! Got nothing but lies, runaround, and BS sob stories about family issues, etc, etc...The a--clown even had the gall to look me up here on this board when I joined, hoping that I'd buy his sob-story. All I told him was that what he did was unethical, wrong and bad for one's reputation and that I'd appreciate my money back. That was 5 years ago and to this day the twit hasn't paid me back. So much for Canadian politeness; next time I run across this guy I won't be so tolerant and compassionate. Much the same as the original case here, it was an off-eBay transaction that involved a Paypal payment as a gift. No recourse possible and this guy knew it. Now that I know a thing or two more about how rare the parts I supposedly bought were I know he had me figured from the beginning. As they say, there's one born every minute, and that was my time. All I know is that if I'm ever down in Missoula I'm going to go look him up and show him what an Alberta Clipper is all about; - I'm 6'8" and 300lbs; - take it from there, but it ain't going to be pretty.
It's taken me a while to cool down, but I don't really want to end up in an American jail. They don't treat us foreigners very well in them, something about only citizens get rights and foreigners have to wait. If I did what I wanted to do, I'd never make over the border in time, and besides, there's an extradition treaty. So reason prevails; and I think the SOB knows that.
I had an agreed price of 650 shipped from this dink, for the whole brake pkge. Hope you get your stuff or get even.:blast: I heard enough stories from him that I would rather buy brand new, unbuggered stuff. His front spindles were 2" drop anyway, would have needed standard height. Yep, he's in California, and evidently a real piece of work.
once again he said he would stop to get the tracking number and nothing. so instead I'm getting lawyer involved to send him a letter.
