You also have to consider that if you use a bigger cam, make sure your heads and valve springs will handle it.
Darren go to post #13 71skylark350v and click on the you tube he posted. You will be able to hear his engine with the 212 Bob H. (Dad)
Do you have some video clips of your 212 cam from when you DID run that cam? people might like to hear it...

The Comp 260H works well in my car. The engine has never had the heads off, idles very well, and doesn't need a lot of spring pressure off the seat or over the nose to work. The lobes are not very aggressive, so I don't worry about flattening lobes. I will step up the cam if I throw some ported heads on, but with the stock heads I didn't really see any benefit to going bigger than the 260H. I paid $70 for the cam off ebay and had to buy lifters so it was not very expensive either. I think I have more tied up in the springs than cam/lifters. I think I can get it down to a 13.5x as it sits with some more tweaking and good air. It's more important to worry about matching the combo than how it sounds at idle. I haven't seen much track data from the Lunati cam, I'd love to line up with someone who has this cam and see what happens
You can tell a lot about how a cam will work on the street by the idle if you have been around them for a while. If it has a nice crisp sound under a 1000 rpms it should be a good street cam. That's why we want to hear them. Been around to long to get my jollies over a rough idling cam. Bob H.
Thanks James I looked it up and it looks like it requires a little higher compression ratio then 9.0:1. Bob H.
I found this searching V8buick.com Poston GS 350-114 cam, lobe center-114*, Adv duration-intake-270*, exhaust- 276*, lift intake-.480, exhaust-.485, power range 1500-5800, maximum RPM-7000 You could PM Justa350 he is running one in his tubs and twins 350 car.
If you were in cali I would line up with you:spank: :spank: Lol I ran a 13.17 with it just in D.I will also say I had the comp 268h in there before the lunanti one and it was a very good cam for daily driving and putting around town.
Here is the Poston 114 cam in a stock 350 with dual 3" exhaust: http://www.youtube.com/user/Flapding#p/u/4/jI3CtXSPq-A Here is a stock 350 with the 114 and twin turbos LOL! It makes a great turbo cam due to the mild profile... I am using this cam to get started with turbos before I order a custom grind. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UgEdT2jdkd8&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UgEdT2jdkd8&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
