1970 Stage 1 - 11 second e.t.'s

Average User Rating:
5/5,
  • One of my current projects is a 1970 Stage 1 GS I picked up from Colorado. This is the cleanest most rust free car I've ever owned. Plans for a Frame Off Restoration are in the near future but for now we're enjoying it as is. The original drivetrain has been removed and in storage for safe keeping. Current drivetrain is a 1970 455 with port work and a tad bigger cam. Our goal was to run 11 second ET's without the aid of aftermarket parts. This goal was achieved in 2016 at Rock Falls Raceway in Wisconsin. I have a few more tricks to incorporate so we expect more performance to come. No aftermarket engine parts or lightweight parts are utilized. I want the car to look totally stock and run 11's. It's much more fun running those ET's without the aid of aftermarket parts. It surprises a lot of fellow racers!

More information on this car on my website

If you're restoring a Buick please check out my website. I stock a lot of restoration parts for these cars! (Including the factory bolts, fasteners, screws etc.....) https://www.stage1restoration.com/
