Yes. That car was sent to the Chicago Zone Office and was later sold new at Jacobs Twin Buick in Chicago. It's was run through the Mecum auction twice in 2012 (Des Moines, IA and Monteray, CA). Sale price was $44k.

They didn't even bother to wash the mud off the front fender for the photos on ebay and the car does appear to have gone down in condition in the last 10 years. At least someone got to drive and enjoy it. Here are some old photos of it from a decade ago.

The '71s do but the '72s are not as heavily optioned. James has some great info about the '71s in this thread: https://v8buick.com/index.php?threa...-1-convertible-zone-office-cars.262550/page-2

Here is the full list of options installed on the '72 Zone Office Stage 1 convertibles. The only exception is that the two '72 Zone Office cars sent to California also had the required California emissions option.

Beautiful car! Too much $$ for me, but very nice.

Interesting & I didn't realize until @Redmanf1 sold his recently that the '72's weren't as heavily optioned as '71's which I assume there was a reason for but doesn't make sense. Shame they didn't all have hood tachs plus everything else, especially PW which is the 1st thing I look for in a convertible.

I noticed someone installed a power seat, front spoiler and front X support bars missing.
