The whole Orange stage convertible thing got me thinking, I had a 72 Skylark custom coupe white bucket seat white top car That was flame Orange with "Z-Z" on the cowl plate it's long gone but was it anything special? I've never been a big "numbers" guy just curious
Not sure what your Q is, but My 72 has the ZZ 65-65 code, but that thread got me wondering why that car's cowl tag didn't have it?
65 B = 65 body color, while B is the roof color (black). A vinyl roof or convertible would not have a Z / 65 Flame Orange color code for the roof color attribute on the cowl tag. Troy
