Seems I need to spray more aeresol cans in the air to speed up this global warming stuff. Stupid local weather channel predicted high 50's and sunny. I might drive over there and kick someone in the #$%^. So much for getting the roads clear of salt and getting the Buicks out. Sigh....
Suppose to be 60 here in Chicago then rain later on to wash all that salt away should be driving by the weekend
Saturday was miserable for a couple reasons - among them cold rain and funerals. Sunday it got better, today I am driving my 68! Whee. Opening day for baseball today-Go Reds. Jason, the sun is on its way!
Yeah, it was fun driving this morning, but it is COMPLETELY gone now, not a trace of snow anywhere. Long range outlook for Sunday April 6th is sunny and 55*. Hope that holds for the N.E. GS/GN Mafia Spring Meet.:TU:
Fargo is on the edge of a blizzard, that is mostly wrapping around us. Sounds like we'll be seeing more of it this evening. Not a LOT of snow, but right now it is rain/sleet, and gusts will see 50mph later, maybe a few inches of actual snow, but whiteout conditions coming.
Had ANOTHER 5 inches yesterday here in Maryland. None was predicted at all in central Maryland just for far western MD. They sure got it wrong! This has got to be it for snow!!!
I'm freezing here in Massachusetts. Man, do I wish that the globe would get warmer! I'm leaving incandescent lights on all night and building fires in the fireplaces. Cold sux!
Funny, it turns out the local weatherman was right....eventually. Its now sunny and 50 degrees. A far cry from this morning. crazy!
We got a few inches of plowable slush here in NH, 10 minutes from NewEngland Dragway. Buick Bash at NED April 13th....should be interesting. I think a date later in the season would see more participants drawn in from greater distances. Jim/Rott
I sat for 22 hours in Morris, MB from last Monday afternoon until Tuesday morning due to blizzard conditions between there and Fargo, and I-29 being closed. Then, I was just ahead of yet another storm system which hit central Minnesota and Wisconsin. I have had enough already! :af: Hopefully, Enviroguess Canada Weather finally gets it right this week with near normal temperatures in the forecast. ray:
Winter here is now officially complete, at least in my house. +8 C here today with the sun in the sky. Ran the snowblower & shut off the fuel to the carb., let it stop until next December. It may snow some more here but I'm done with it.
