Another song unlikely to be heard on the radio. No vocals, but the guitar work displays some amazing skills. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/pINh_9TbPWQ?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
One of my favourites , especially since he's a local singer and the wildcat was been in my yard - like 20 years ago. the roads they are cruising are all ones I've driven , Even the back deck Brett is standing on at the beginning looks familiar to me
Kinda way off the wall - but about my favorite Buick, wish i could fill my tank now for $4 or even $40 dollars. The writers didn't know 71 was the year you didn't need leaded gas anymore , but the song is pretty cool and heart felt. $13,000 for 71 in around 2001 was a pretty good offer too, but if it was me and my car with history i wouldm't have taken it either. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/OgTZuS7olaw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgTZuS7olaw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsEwF316dTk My brother is friends with this band. He let them use the bar/restaurant he manages to do some of the filming in. My brother is in the vid for a split second.....He's the guy that gets busted in the chops in the opening few seconds. The vid was a spoof of the movie "Point Break".
Last year I really enjoyed these guys while in Nashville. Somehow I see a similarity with these youngsters choosing non-mainstream and us driving and enjoying our old cars:
I stumbled across this song, one I hadn't heard in years, and was compelled to dredge up this thread to share it. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/TpRKIxf89SU?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I remember timbuk 3 playing the Austin opry house in 1981. They did not, actually, have a future so bright they had to wear shades. They got divorced. I wonder who got the jam box?
Ah yes, David Lindley...who plays slide guitar on Sunny Hills in SoCal graduate Jackson Browne's hit, Runnin' on Empty. I was fortunate as a teenager to see Jackson Browne, David Lindley and Kansas at the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach, Ca. The Golden Bear always had great bands... I found this advert on the web...from back in the day!
This did get air time, but many are not familiar with it. One of my favorite cruising tunes. This is a recent remix. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...zIDIBw&usg=AFQjCNE7ZgEtLmyzb6vnKSfP8ivaLSCxPw
Matt Mays from Nova Scotia up here in the east coast of Canada always put on rockin' shows and I kinda like the Vanishing Point feel of this song Cocaine Cowgirl...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LDWD9Gv-PE Another great song of his is Take it on Faith, this video is a fan mash up of old Canadian National Film Board footage of scenes from across Canada put into place with the song, love the vintage 60's images of our country.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEpC9CsKboI
a newer song ive been playing allot though I like her better in her old band, due to the transitions to her beautiful singing vocals
her old band, The Agonist The thing I love about Her is she doesnt use a filter for her growls to sound deeper or morbid, like some metal bands..nor does she use a voice snycronizer like majority of pop bands to have the perfect key note.. I think she does her screams in "fry"?
not really a video That whole album is bad ass even the 2? soft songs
To change the flow a lil
Not bad for a Boston sidewalk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EPwRdVg5Ug&noredirect=1 Some amazingly good local talent: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-SCUT0rCwE
Early Genesis with Peter Gabriel doing a live version of "Supper's Ready". It's 26+ minutes long. Check out Tony Banks on the keyboards and organ. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/M58wE8GTGp4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
