ricknmel67 this one is for you!! :beer i know your loving those gangster whites. BTW thats a 38 buick sedan. i absolutely HATE slotted mags and cragar ss wheels. if they fell off the face of the earth forever i wouldnt miss them. same goes with muscle cars with air shocks raised 10 ft high in the back. *shakes head at mopar guys*
I like the look of Buick rally wheels along with Goodyear Polyglas GT's(G60x15's). To me,that is the classic look.
Can't beat the dog dishes. They say six cylinder, but came standard on most if not all muscle cars. I had them on my 91 Crown Vic Interceptor. No-one ever passed me on the highway, and I was going the speed limit!
1. Torque Thrust II 2.Crager SS 3.Torque Thrust 4.Chrome rims with baby moon hubcaps 5.Buick Ralleys Just my Opinion, take care all. Bill Bailey
What was that 80's ad slogan - "Darth Vador, your car is waiting..." That thing just screams - "don't even try it." For me: Dog dishes on body-color rims Buick Ralleys Torque Thrusts My neighbor has a set of those magnesium 5-holers setting next to his yard shed. Set of verrrrry worn slicks mounted on 'em. Keep wanting to ask him about them, but never seem to catch him in the yard.
I am sure that Gesslers car is a 72 with the Buick Rallys. Is that 70 Black car pictured here the one for sale that has 750 hidden horsepower? I think it just might be! I saw it last week somewhere on the net. I think it might of been selling for about 35,000? But I don't remember fro sure the price.
Keith... what's that on your hood? It looks like a spotlight :eek2: Is that an option? Thats the first I've seen one. :beer
yes it is Yes that is a Factory Accessory Spotlight, group # 9.773 part # 981130 - Rare - VERY. I have an NOS one that I am thinking on putting on the 69 which I believe was the last year for them, not sure if 70 had them available or not. I also have a used set that I pulled off a Buick Dealers personal 67 Electra Conv years ago. They sold for $36 in 67 so they where not cheap. My 67 is LOADED with all those kind of goodies:Brow: The operation of them is neat, you pull in and out on the handle and the bulb move up and down, you turn the handle and the whole head does a 360.
Good! No one has mentioned my favorite wheels which means that I still may succeed in being different. That is if they still make them when my car is finally done.
The black 70 that is picured here is not Greg Gesslers car. Greg runs the stock Buick ralleye[mag] rim with the Polyglass tires. The black car pictured is absolutly georgeus,I seen it at Bristol this past fall. The owners were really cool guys as well. When my Stage1 is finally finished it will have the dog dishes with the G60 Polyglass`s on it
yeah, but bryon, dude....you posted a picture of a MAVERICK!! now you must repeat after me.." I am NOT just one chorus of 'freebird' away from being a mullet wearing redneck"
