TrunkMonkey's "meat popsicle" comment in the census thread reminded me of the Meat Puppets....one hit wonder from my past.

Hadn't heard this for years. Loved it when it was released, but was not played often. Actually had forgotten about it.....which is unusual for me. Two versions. Justin Hayward still had it here. Check them both out, you'll like them if you are a Moody Blues fan. <iframe width="764" height="430" src="" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="608" height="456" src="" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Moody Blues get fairly regular airplay on Sirius/XM Deep Tracks channel 27. "It's up to You" is in their rotation. I'll occasionally turn up the volume when it comes on.
I first heard this LP a few days ago. It's got charm in spades. I posted it on Facebook and one guy from the 1970s said it's great, and a kid from high school said his parents had it and it's part of his youth's soundtrack.
When I drive my 66 Wildcat.... Surfin' Safari by the Beach Boys. Something that would have played on her AM radio when she was new.
You don't hear this Gregg Allman cover of a John Hiatt song very often. It's possible I previously posted this one....
