Anyone in South Dakota know of a recent motorcycle accident? The reason im asking is because my neighbor had an accident there this past week. Here goes the story.... He was riding along on his Honda Goldwing 1500 Ascpencade (sp?) when out of nowhere a deer LEAPS out and stirkes his bike. BOOM! He miraculously keeps the bike upward with another passenger on. :shock: No one was injured, but he did gut the deet right there on the spot. So now he has 5K of damage to is cycle and an unbelievable story to tell. How that for unbelivable?
Motorcycles and deer meat a lot. One guy I know, who has a tendency to drive really fast had to lay the bike down to avoid hitting the deer. Hit it anyway . Can you say Road Rash?
Ever hear of a sport bike -vs- a ton of moose? We call `em the "Moose Ginsu" up here. The bike will usually go right under and just clip the guts. There's been a couple news items up here... real messy.

back in 1982 , i saw a 260 datsun that kissed a moose , at night , in northern ontario . the datsun struck the moose in its front flanks & underbelly area . the top half of the car (windshield & roof) were severely damaged , the moose was killed . fortunately , no one was injured .
