Send him this episode.. :bla: I bought "The Rockford Files" on DVD and there is an episode called "Just by Accident" Original Air Date:28 February 1975 (Season 1, Episode 22) Well if you've ever watched the series you know in just about every episode he either gets beat up, knocked out or someone tries to kill him. :laugh: In this episode they don't disappoint. All three happen. :spank: He gets knocked out and they drive him and his Firebird off a cliff. After he gets out of the hospital he goes to his buddy that owns a Used Car lot. It's Gorden Jump from wkrp in cincinnati. He gives him a 1969 Riviera GS the same color as Yardley's. :3gears: And of course he totals it and it burns!!! :ball: :ball: :ball:
I just seen that episide on Sleuth 2 weeks ago. Wasn't that car similar to the same color as his bird??
Yes.. The bird was Denver Gold Poly.. I started watching them on Sleuth also.. But the quality of the video is horrendous. Read the IMDB.com message boards about it. So I bought the first 3 seasons and pre-ordered the 4th due out May 15th. Made me cry too. :ball: When he went to his bud to get his car fixed and get something else to drive and he get's the Riv I said awesome!! p But then I got thinking.. :idea2: It's Rockford.. Dave, where did you get the DVD's and how much were they? Speaking of Firebirds, I saw "McQ" last weekend with John Wayne. In the movie he drives a 73 Trans Am in Brewster green. Some great chase scenes. The car get beat on pretty good. Towards the ends naturally it gets crushed in between two garbage trucks.
I get them from amazon.. They were about 30 bucks a season. But back then actors worked hard and made 25 to 30 shows a year. So you get a lot for your money. I love McQ!! :TU: He made that movie because of the success of Dirty Harry. A roll he turned down a few years earlier. o No: They really beat the snot out of that car chasing the laundry trucks. :3gears:
