Don Prudhomme stops by the garage.. http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/at-the-garage/muscle-cars/don-prudhommes-ampquotthe-snakeampquot/
I dig the fact that Don says he's a collector like Jay. The way he has the transporter fitted with uniforms and a spare hemi is way cool.
Very Cool. Chrysler is my second to Buick. My current daily ride is a 2003 Dodge Durango. Which, replaced the 2002 Durango.
ok..so Snake says its a hemi cuda...has all the numbers and stuff...and 3 paragraphs later he says its all fiberglass....i thought i was quite the bull$hitter....
Jay has no BUICKS or even anything Buick powered! He Has some cool stuff but No collection is complete with out a Buick.
Not quite correct. One of his favorite cars is a Buick: http://www.seriouswheels.com/1950-1959/1955-Buick-Roadmaster-Jay-Leno-Front-Car-1280x960.htm As for the engine, well, that is another story.
That toy at the beginning is awesome! I did find one one on ebay... but for $399 !!! I wonder what they were new? They were called "legends to Life" and there is a nascar and another hotwheels car (the red one with 2 motors?)
Because it is powered by a 572" Big Block Chevrolet. It was featured on "My Classic Car" a while back. Such a waste, a Buick powered by Chevy. Now then... a Chevy powered by a Buick is just fine with me. Like a '70's Dually Pickup or a Suburban.
He was talking about the numbers making it a correct year pars. Even if that was a real body, they ate engines so a numbers matching car couldn't make it past the first half a season. The spare engine is also a correct numbers engine.
Yeah, I did'nt get that either, numbers matching what? It's a fiberglass car? with two matching engines from two different years?
That was a good segment. The Snake and Mongoose. Had the Hot wheels and the mosel kits. I had a toy similar to that as a kid in '70 -'71. It was a rail dragster that would go through the motions and do a wheel stand etc. I think it was a kit I put together maybe? :idea2:
