This truck is fir from Cherry and it is a only 2X4 not a 4X4. I think it was originally from Forest Park, OAK-Lohoma.

Looks like a modern basecoat wainscote finish, but might only be single stage Thompsons.

What it really needs is a split birch seat. I think several here have nailed it good.

After a few lagers I decided to clearly cut to the root of this and leave the birching out of it.
