:3gears: I'm only selling because I have my eye on a GSX. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2493167796 Harvey
I can't pass this one up! With a little work on the body and Interior it could be a good Daily driver!     Just Kidding ! It is a beautiful Car! Good Luck and I hope you get the GSX :TU: :3gears: Don
I also think it is a very nice looking car. Does it have a 350 / 350 in it now or has it been changed to a 455 / ?
Nice car!!! Just curious, though...couldn't a Stage 1 have had 3.08 gears? My Chassis Manual gives no indication either way (that I could find), and Atlanta Buick's VIN decode page looks like both the 3.08 and 3.43 were available... o No: Just struck me - every year before '71, the VIN gave an indication of engine...why did they stop in '71? Wish I had some $$$!!!
As far as the VIN, In 71 Buick combined the GS 455 and the GS 350 into one model...GS. Technically all 1971 GS 455's and Stage 1's are GS 350's with the 455 option. They dropped the big block model code and used the small block model code to cover all of them. BTW..71s are my favorite!
:ball: :beer o No: :TU: ou: :spank:  The reserve has been met. All of the above are my emotions right now. Oh well I guess I'm stuck now. I've never sold a car on ebay, but in my many years of experience nothing is sold until the cash is in hand! Harvey
Now that's what I was talking about in my previous post! Nothing is sold till the money is in the pocket! I wonder how someone can bid if they are not a registered user? The emotions posted above are still applicable! Harvey
Well thats good to see. I hope you get 15K + for it... I'll bet you will. I will sell my GS to buy a 65 or 66 Wildcat Convertible someday. Maybe even next year. :eek2: frank
