I read a bunch of the previous post about carb spacers. Do I have the right idea? Here is my set up.
I have a Demon carb and want to use a carb spacer to match it to my
Edelbrock Performer intake. The motor is mild so a 4 hole 1 inch spacer is they way to go. Correct?
The car is going to be a street strip car. I want all the torque I can get.
I also like the idea of using a no-aluminum spacer for heat insulation.
    Have a Happy Thanksgiving

Thank you and I like your ride. My wife is not into cars but she would support a Wildcat purchase

I ran a similar set up many years ago but used a 1" open spacer and the heat shield, I guess I need to do another search to see if anyone has any apples to apples dyno or track data :TU: After racing tomorrow, I want to try a 1" spacer for the next weekend, just don't know what style to use

Yeah, we race some in the summer, but this is the nice time! That's an old picture from my racing in the early 80's!
