Has anyone run one? Does anyone know who makes them for Year One? I am looking at putting one in my street strip sklyark and was just wondering if it would be strong enough. Any feed back or information would be nice.

Thanks for reading and any posts

Aluminum in a drag race car...I personally would not do it UNLESS you have the money to keep replacing it. I have heard drive line shop here that do driveshafts and trans curse them as they u-joint cup holes always oblong out and the shaft are always needed new yoke ends.

Stick with steal if your gonna beat on the car at the track and want to drive around too. IF your looking for every little advantage then yes you will get some unsprung torque advantage off the line.

Had one in my old 5.0 Mustang, and loved it. Daily driven and at the track as often as possible. Pulled it out of an Aerostar van at the boneyard, used my original yokes with new u-joints. Did it all at home total cost was about 80$, I think I picked up a tenth at the track. But a ford 302 and a Buick 455 or 350, are two different animals, I dont know how one would do with that much torque.
