    I like the look of that car too. I am surprised they did not clean out the stuff in the back seat before taking the pics though, but hey, to each his own... LOL

    Rob, I noticed there are no pics of the engine compartment, but seller (Juan) notes on his page:

    After about 1 hour of running I have noticed that engine oil pressure drops to 4 or 5 psi at idle. As the car drive, oil pressure goes up. I pulled the oil pan last week but did not see anything wrong with the engine, actually the internals looked great, oil pump looks like it has been replace already. There is no knocking or lifter noise. I even put in another pressure gauge to confirm that the stock indash gauge is accurate. Engine might just need new CAM and/or Cranck Bearings. I usually just run 40 Weight oil, maybe go heavier?

    I can't tell where that 70 Skylark is. It says "Bend Craiglist? Where the heck is that? It says Downtown bend, but no state.

    Ken, There is a Bend, Oregon. Perhaps that is it. Thats the only "Bend" I 'bve heard of.

    That kind of oil pressure is normal for a Straight -8 that is aging. My '46 runs well like that, nothing much to worry about. If he loads any thicker oil in it he'll just kill it. As long as the oil pressure is around 30-35 lbs at 45mph or higher, that engine will be fine for a while.
