Not sure if everyone is aware, but my birthday falls very close to my picnic every year (as does Alan Wander's). So this year my picnic will also serve as my 50th birthday party. I have a blues band scheduled to play. Keg o' beer. Lot's of food. Scheduled for May 8th! It has historically been on the Saturday before Mother's day because GSCA Nats and Norwalk usually fall the week before and the week after, but this year they are back to back after Mother's day. So mark your calendars! Looks like it could be the first outing for our cars this year! I'm pretty sure Ken Lisk's GSX will be there. And my Riv with the new motor will be burning up the driveway (as usual).

That's one of the reasons I've never been to anything aside from the dead days of Summer events. I get slammed at work in the Spring and Fall. Winter just sucks in general....I save that for my worthless 2-day Vegas trips and irrigation product manufacturer tours and trade shows
